This blended learning course for doctors, nurses and midwives is designed to help enhance your current knowledge and technique in cervical screening with a focus on self-collection. It covers theory through online learning, and practise through a 2-hour face-to-face skills-based workshop led by Family Planning Australia clinicians.

Our courses provide up-to-date, evidence based clinical information delivered by Family Planning Australia expert clinicians and specialist guest presenters.
Many of our courses include clinical placements and participants get to work alongside our expert clinicians in one of Family Planning Australia clinics which are located in Newington, Penrith, Fairfield, Dubbo and Newcastle.
All our courses for doctors are accredited with the RACGP and/or ACRRM.
Courses for nurses and midwives will be issued with certification indicating the equivalent hours to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for CPD.

This course is designed for doctors who wish to gain hands-on experience in the specialty of reproductive and sexual health. This course requires participants to complete a clinical skills workshop and then attend 32 hours of clinical placement at a Family Planning Australia clinic.
